Q: What is the difference between HomeDock and HomeDock Deluxe?A: HomeDock and HomeDock Deluxe are quite similar. They both connect to your home stereo and TV to let you enjoy your iPod’s music, photos, and videos at home. HomeDock Deluxe adds one very special feature. It displays iPod’s music directly on to your TV screen. Allowing you to navigate and control your iPod from your couch.

Q: can I use On-Screen Navigation to select photos and videos like I navigate music?A: You can absolutely control transport functions (like Play/Pause, First Forward, Rewind, etc.) of iPod photo slide shows and iPod videos using HomeDock Deluxe’s remote control. You can even use HomeDock Deluxe’s navigation button to control i’Pod’s menus directly. You cannot, however, use HomeDock Deluxe’s On-Screen-Navigation to list and select your iPod’s photo slideshows and videos. These have to be selected from iPod directly. This is because the current Apple firmware allows external navigation of music only.

Q: What iPod does HomeDock Deluxe work with?A: HomeDock Deluxe works with every dockable iPod, except 3rd generation iPods. It doesn’t matter if your iPod has color screen or video capability. Dock your ‘old’ 4g iPod or iPod mini onto HomeDock Deluxe to have access to thousands of your favorite songs that you can view and select with HomeDock Deluxe’s super cool on screen navigation.
